Tamoya Bell, LMHC
Psychotherapist
Tamora Merrit, MS, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern Tamora Merrit is a compassionate therapist who supports individuals struggling with intense emotions that feel impossible to manage. She specializes in working with clients who find themselves going from calm to overwhelmed in an instant — reacting with frustration, anger, or sadness in ways that don’t reflect who they truly are. Using a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approach, Tamora helps clients build practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and healthy communication. Her work centers on helping people recognize, accept, and manage emotions in the moment, rather than pushing them down or lashing out. She guides clients in strengthening communication at home, at work, and most importantly, with themselves. Tamora understands how difficult it can be to seek support, and she creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can find balance, inner peace, and more fulfilling relationships.
