Sarah Silva, RMHCI
Associate Therapist at Healing Insight Therapy and Wellness Collective

At-A-Glance
I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and past experiences by creating a space where they can slow down, feel their emotions, and reconnect with themselves. Together, we work through emotional patterns, build self-trust, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating.
I help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand each other’s emotional needs. Using a supportive and honest approach, I guide partners in breaking unhealthy patterns and strengthening their connection.
For those ready to go deeper, intensives offer a focused space to process unresolved emotions, trauma, or major life transitions in a shorter period of time. Together, we work through what’s been weighing on you so you can leave feeling more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

Is this you?
Maybe you’ve gotten really good at explaining your feelings, but still don’t quite feel them. You carry anxiety, self-doubt, or old wounds that show up in your relationships or how you see yourself, and no matter how much you think it through, something still feels stuck. You might be tired of being hard on yourself or just “getting by,” and want to feel more grounded, more connected, more at ease in your own mind and body. If that sounds like you, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My Approach to Wellness
My approach to wellness is client-centered and focused on helping you gain a clear understanding of the patterns in your life that no longer serve you. I blend cognitive-behavioral strategies with a deep appreciation for the systemic and cultural factors that impact your mental health. My work often involves helping clients reframe their relationship with substances, improve communication skills, and navigate the pressures they face in their personal and professional lives.

I Specialize in working with people who...
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating addiction recovery, emotional regulation, self-worth, and relational wounds. Particularly those who tend to intellectualize or spiritually bypass their pain. Including working through depression and anxiety. I help clients build emotional confidence, explore resistance, and reframe self-criticism through curiosity, creativity, and compassionate honesty.

About Me
I’ve always been passionate about mental health, both from my personal experiences and the ways I’ve seen it impact others around me. Growing up, I struggled with self-esteem, anxiety, and family dynamics. It wasn’t until I started studying psychology and later sought therapy myself that I realized how transformative these tools could be. Now, as a therapist, I work with men and individuals of color who want to break out of the cycles that have held them back for so long. I bring both my academic expertise and lived experience to the work I do, creating a space for others to heal.
Identities I'd like to share

My Story
Growing up, I struggled with social anxiety, bullying, and self-love. Throughout my life, I experienced a lack of emotional insight and understanding of myself. I was raised in a religious home where mental health was largely dismissed, treated as if it didn’t exist. After pursuing what was expected of me, I fell into a mental health crisis. Through exploring the deep, scary chambers of my mind, I encountered a part of myself that existed beyond the mental wires I had been buried in by society, religion, and lack of education.
I emerged from this night of the soul and discovered a sanctuary within my own mind. Since then, I have wanted to hold the hands of anyone navigating that darkness, whether it be a long night or an evening of dusky uncertainty. My mission is to create a space where one can explore oneself with curiosity instead of judgment, from love instead of hate.
