You give so much of yourself to those around you, yet feelings of anxiety, burnout, or depression have become too familiar. You vacillate between feeling overwhelmed by your emotions and detached from the life you want to live. Despite striving to do your best, self-doubt and people-pleasing tendencies have left you feeling stuck, frustrated, and disconnected. You’re seeking balance, emotional clarity, and a way to show up with more patience and presence for yourself and your loved ones. You’re ready to reclaim your confidence, find calm in the chaos, and live with purpose and fulfillment.

I Specialize in working with people who...
I specialize in working with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, parenting challenges, women’s issues, and major life transitions. Through a client-centered, non-judgmental, and supportive environment, I help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to gain deeper self-awareness. Using solution-focused techniques, we will work together to identify unhelpful patterns, develop strategies to overcome struggles, and create meaningful change.
How would you describe therapy to someone who has never been to therapy before?
Therapy is a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone trained to help you. It’s a process of working together to explore challenges, develop insight, and build skills to improve your well-being. Think of it as a guided conversation where you can reflect, process emotions, and create strategies to navigate life’s difficulties. It’s also a place where you can discover your strengths, set goals, and learn healthier ways to cope and grow.
What holistic practices do you incorporate into session?
- Hypnotherapy for deep relaxation and healing.
- Mindfulness and Breathwork to manage stress and anxiety.
- Brain-Gut Connection Techniques to support mental and physical health.
- Solution-Focused Therapy to help you take small, manageable steps toward wellness.
If someone was on the fence about therapy what would you say to encourage them to get started?
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s also an act of courage and self-care. It’s a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, gain new tools to navigate life’s challenges, and build a deeper understanding of yourself. You don’t have to go through it alone—together, we can create a path toward growth, healing, and fulfillment. Every journey begins with a first step, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

About Me
Growing up as the child of a parent in the military shaped my worldview and sparked my passion for understanding human experiences. Frequent moves and adjusting to new environments taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of connection. These early experiences instilled in me a deep sense of empathy for those navigating change and uncertainty. I witnessed firsthand the power of strong family bonds and the importance of community support in fostering emotional well-being. Throughout my career, I’ve drawn from this foundation. Working in child welfare and mental health services exposed me to the profound impact of trauma and the strength of those who endure it. It deepened my belief in the need for compassionate advocacy and reinforced my commitment to creating safe spaces where individuals feel empowered to share their stories and heal. My training in trauma-informed care, EMDR, perinatal mental health, and mindfulness has equipped me with the tools to help clients navigate life’s complexities. I’ve learned that healing involves more than addressing symptoms—it requires fostering a supportive, non-judgmental environment that honors each person’s unique journey. Today, my mission as a therapist is to empower clients to build self-awareness, shift unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change. Drawing on my life experiences and professional expertise, I guide individuals toward resilience, growth, and fulfillment by emphasizing strengths, emotional connection, and the transformative power of self-discovery.
Identities I'd like to share
I identify as a cisgender Black woman, and I’m a proud single mother to a NICU graduate.

If I didn’t become a therapist I would be doing this instead…
I would likely be working in education or community outreach, creating programs that support mental health and emotional well-being. I’ve always been passionate about empowering others and fostering personal growth, so I would still be drawn to roles focused on making a positive impact, teaching, and creating meaningful connections.
