Is this you?

When clients first come to me, they often feel like they’re failing at the never-ending list of responsibilities—whether at home, work, or in relationships. They keep pushing through because they “can’t afford to fall apart.” If you feel overwhelmed by your to-do list and need a new approach to living a balanced life, I can help you find both productivity and peace. I’m here to guide you in building boundaries, letting go of guilt, and reclaiming joy.

My Approach to Wellness

I use a blend of evidence-based practices and trauma-focused approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My goal is to help you rewire your relationship with your thoughts and feelings, release what’s no longer serving you, and set the boundaries needed for healing and self-care.

What are 5 words clients use to describe you?

Compassionate, Supportive, Grounding, Encouraging, and Insightful.

I Specialize in working with people who...

feel overwhelmed by the demands of life, whether it’s balancing work, relationships, or personal goals. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, or trauma, and are seeking clarity and a new way forward. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life transitions, set healthy boundaries, and prioritize self-care. Whether you’re processing grief, recovering from trauma, or just need support in managing stress, I provide a safe and compassionate space to help you heal and grow.

How would you describe therapy to someone who has never been to therapy before?

Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own. It’s a place to get clarity on what’s not working, release the pressure to be perfect, and create new habits that bring peace into your life. We’ll work together to understand your thoughts and feelings and build the tools needed to move forward with confidence.

What holistic practices do you incorporate into session?

Mindfulness Techniques

If someone was on the fence about therapy what would you say to encourage them to get started?

I would remind them that seeking support is a courageous act of self-care. You don’t have to go through life feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Therapy is a space where you can make sense of what’s happening, heal, and create new possibilities for yourself. You deserve to be happy and at peace.

Identities I'd like to share

I’m a woman of color and a passionate advocate for women’s mental health and empowerment.

My Story

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space to feel heard and understood. Growing up, I watched loved ones struggle with anxiety, grief, and trauma, without knowing where to turn. It inspired me to provide a space where others can find support and healing. My journey into mental health counseling was driven by a passion for helping people move through life’s challenges and find their inner strength.

Education & Professional Background

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience and certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, which allow me to help clients reframe negative thought patterns and heal from past experiences. I’ve dedicated my career to supporting adults and teens through life’s challenges, with a focus on trauma recovery, stress management, and personal growth.

Just for Fun!

If I didn’t become a therapist, I would be doing this instead…
I would be a travel photographer, capturing the beauty of cultures and landscapes around the world.

What are your top 3 go-to self-care techniques?

  1. Daily journaling to process my thoughts.

  3. Yoga and mindful breathing to release stress.

3 Fun Facts About Me:

  • I love hiking in the mountains and exploring national parks.
