I specialize in working with students, young adults, and individuals facing life transitions or crises. I’ve worked with college students, at-risk youth, and individuals managing mental health and behavioral challenges. I have experience supporting families, individuals navigating complex systems (like higher education or social services), and those needing career or life coaching.
How would you describe therapy to someone who has never been to therapy before?
Therapy is a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges without judgment. It’s a process designed to help you gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and improve your overall well-being.
What holistic practices do you incorporate into session?
- Strength-based approaches – Focusing on clients’ resilience and abilities.
- Mindfulness and stress management – Teaching strategies to manage anxiety and improve emotional regulation.
- Career and life coaching – Guiding individuals through transitions and personal growth.
If someone was on the fence about therapy what would you say to encourage them to get started?
Therapy isn’t just for crises—it’s for personal growth, self-care, and gaining new perspectives on life. You don’t have to go through challenges alone; therapy provides a space to work through your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with a trained professional.

Identities I'd like to share
I am a proud mom, a wife and I am Jamaican.
My Story
I was born in Jamaica and moved to the United States at the age of 11—a transition that came with its challenges as I learned to navigate a new culture, environment, and way of life. Adapting to this change was a journey, one that shaped my resilience and deepened my understanding of the importance of support during life’s transitions.
One of the most defining moments of my life was watching my mother step up to care for her stepchildren after her husband passed away. During that time, a social worker would visit to check in on them, offering guidance and support. I was deeply moved by the fact that someone outside of our family cared enough to ensure their well-being. That experience planted a seed in me—I knew I wanted to be a social worker, to be that support system, listening ear, and advocate for people facing difficult times.
That passion has led me to a career dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges, find their strengths, and build a path forward. Whether through therapy, coaching, or education, my goal is to create a safe and empowering space where people feel heard, understood, and supported—just as I once witnessed in my own life.
