Is this you?

You’re a hardworking individual, and though life may look stable from the outside, internally, you feel like you’re just going through the motions. Maybe you find yourself drinking more often than you’d like, or using marijuana regularly to wind down from stress—but you wouldn’t call it an addiction. Or perhaps you’ve been struggling with communication in your relationships, feeling misunderstood and disconnected. If you’re ready to break out of these cycles and reconnect with your purpose and the people in your life, I can help you identify what’s been holding you back and guide you toward healing.

My Approach to Wellness

My approach to wellness is client-centered and focused on helping you gain a clear understanding of the patterns in your life that no longer serve you. I blend cognitive-behavioral strategies with a deep appreciation for the systemic and cultural factors that impact your mental health. My work often involves helping clients reframe their relationship with substances, improve communication skills, and navigate the pressures they face in their personal and professional lives.

What are 5 words clients use to describe you?

Compassionate, Insightful, Direct, Grounded, Supportive

I Specialize in working with people who...

  • Are men, particularly Black men, who want to challenge societal expectations and address the emotional toll of “toughing it out”
  • Struggle with alcohol or marijuana use but don’t identify as having a substance addiction
  • Want to improve communication and connection in their relationships
  • Are navigating life stressors and feel stuck in unhealthy routines

How would you describe therapy to someone who has never been to therapy before?

Therapy is a space for you to express yourself fully without fear of judgment. We’ll work together to identify what’s not working in your life and find ways to improve it. Whether it’s your relationships, work-life balance, or personal habits, therapy helps you better understand your patterns and create meaningful change.

What holistic practices do you incorporate into session?

Mindfulness, Genograms (family mapping), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Strengths-Based Approaches.

If someone was on the fence about therapy what would you say to encourage them to get started?

Taking the first step can be the hardest, but once you’re here, you’ll see that therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about equipping you with the tools to live life on your terms. You deserve that space for yourself.

About Me

I’ve always been passionate about mental health, both from my personal experiences and the ways I’ve seen it impact others around me. Growing up, I struggled with self-esteem, anxiety, and family dynamics. It wasn’t until I started studying psychology and later sought therapy myself that I realized how transformative these tools could be. Now, as a therapist, I work with men and individuals of color who want to break out of the cycles that have held them back for so long. I bring both my academic expertise and lived experience to the work I do, creating a space for others to heal.

Identities I'd like to share

My Story

I know firsthand how the pressures of life can weigh on you—especially when you’re the one everyone else looks to for strength. Raised in a Haitian household, I experienced firsthand how cultural expectations around masculinity could sometimes make it difficult to acknowledge my emotions. My journey into therapy has been about reclaiming that space for myself, and now, I guide others to do the same. Whether it’s managing stress, addiction, or simply improving your communication, I’m here to support you.
