ABOUT the Founder

Kimberley Small is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience promoting psychosocial well-being for children in the fields of mental health and education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, Kimberley utilizes brain-based, body-based, and other evidence-based approaches to promote healing for children, families and communities through a trauma- and equity- informed lens. As daughter to Jamaican parents, she is deeply passionate about promoting community healing throughout the Caribbean Diaspora, and as such, much of her work has focused on programming and interventions with the global Caribbean Community in mind.
